Hello again and welcome to our roundup of the most confusing photos we found on Reddit this week. Check out last week's if you missed it — and let's get right into it!
1. This building is not on fire, but why does it look like it is?
 |
u/Iwearitlikeatatoo / reddit.com |
The person who took the photo is "extremely sure" it wasn't on fire and witnessed it as it was the sun setting! "Looks like some smoke in the picture, but there wasn't any in person, and the 'flames' weren't moving." —u/ElephantKant
(From what I see, the sun must reflect off the windows.)
2. These are, thankfully, not a pile of teeth. I bet you don't know what they are, though.
 |
u/yamamushi / reddit.com |
They are white bell peppers stuffed with tomatoes. Yes, white bell peppers exist.
3. This is not some weird chicken hand. What is it?
 |
u/Blubulle / reddit.com |
It is the reflection of a unicorn headband in the mirror. (Also that is really bad water damage to the ceiling.)
4. Why does this foot look so weird?
 |
u/Sure-Exit-3600 / reddit.com |
It is actually someone's fist in front of a foot.
5. What is this a photo of?
 |
u/biffybear1 / reddit.com |
A person laying down in their closet, looking up.
6. How did this kitty get to be so large?
 |
u/polird / reddit.com |
The cat is normal-size and in a bird feeder, but it looks like a large tree house because of the tree in the distance.
7. What...is going on here?
 |
u/BuddyBonButt / reddit.com |
The girl is just standing on a tree limb. Weird way to sell shorts though.
8. This is not a three-headed snake. What is it?
 |
u/Accomplished-Buy-147 / reddit.com |
It is not a snake at all! It is in atlas moth and the tips of its wings looks like snake heads.
9. Can you explain what shape this building is?
 |
u/Either-Exchange8671 / reddit.com |
It is Tower 49 in New York. Two pillars stick out and you see a shadow... It is hard to explain, so you can see it in detail here.
10. How on earth is this giant rock floating?
 |
u/christopherrivers / reddit.com |
It is Cathedral Cove’s Floating Rock in New Zealand, and it is in the sea — not floating despite its name. What looks like its shadow is just a shaded area of the beach.
11. How did this moon get cut in half?
 |
u/TurdEye69 / reddit.com |
It didn't. Half of it is just blocked by clouds that are hard to see!
12. And how did this dog lose half of its body?
 |
u/myluciiferislonely / reddit.com |
Its coat just blends perfectly with the gravel; the dog is intact!
13. This cat is not being impaled. What happened?
 |
u/ayla-hen / reddit.com |
It's fur is hanging over the rails, and that is why it looks like they are going through its body.
14. This is not one massive TV. Explain!
 |
u/AlexTheCoolestness / reddit.com |
There is a TV on the wall, but it is smaller. That is one big black wall. I know that one was too easy for you.
15. And, finally, this is not a bum. What is it?!
 |
u/Midget-muncher / reddit.com |
The heels of someone's feet.
