Father with full-body tattoos undergoes dramatic transformation for the sake of his young daughter

We’ve all made choices in the past we’re not proud of, decisions we wish we could undo, and said things we’d like to take back.

However, few of us have regrets as prominent and visible as Ethan ‘ModBoy’ Bramble, a body modification enthusiast from Australia who has adorned himself with over 200 tattoos.

In today’s world, expressing individuality through tattoos has become increasingly popular, with intricate and unconventional designs gaining widespread appeal. That said, most people have limits on how far they’re willing to go, and for many, those boundaries fall well short of Ethan’s extreme modifications.

According to reports, Ethan began his journey at just 11 years old with his first body modification—stretching his ears. Since then, he has undergone various procedures, including splitting his tongue and removing his belly button.

Despite these transformations, it’s his extensive tattoos that draw the most attention. It’s no wonder, given that he is tattooed from head to toe. Ethan has disclosed that he spent approximately $60,000 AUD (around $39,000 USD) to achieve his unique look.

Now, however, he’s expressed some regret regarding the decisions he made.

“I guess you could say I regret some tattoos,” he shared during LadBibleTV’s No Filter series. “Not just regret, I think there’s a difference between regret and wanting to be perceived differently.”

Ethan further explained that he worries about the judgment he might face in everyday situations, like taking his young daughter to school.

“The face is a big thing that can lead to so many – for some people, not everyone – can lead to a lot of problems for yourself, which I probably wouldn’t want my daughter to have to deal with until she was a bit older,” he said.

“I wish that I had not gone as hectic as I did on my face.”

In an effort to change his appearance, Ethan has been undergoing painful laser treatments to remove some of his tattoos.

“I’ve been getting laser [surgery], or have been, for pretty much 12 months… We do it in sections, but I’ve probably gone over the full thing six or seven times,” he explained.

“I started getting it done because of the anxiety and stuff I was getting… Mental stuff is a funny thing to pin down, but I want to think that a lot of the anxiety was from just having a face full of tattoos.

“I’m happy with the way that I look, but I’m also happy with the mentality that over the next two years, my face tattoos are going to become less and less and less. I’m just clearing the canvas.”
